Hi all. As part of the county covid response group, our club Is now an insured member, offering support to our Parish members who may require help. We need at least 5 people to be officially registered as volunteers. There is a criteria however, each volunteer has to be a club member as the insurance we have is specifically to our club. Secondly, the volunteer must be prepared to be Garda vetted as a volunteer in the coming week or so. They need to ring their car insurance company and ask for special volunteer cover (being offered free by most insurance companies). Also, volunteers must agree to adhere to specific protective guidelines which is explained in the link I will put up. If anyone is prepared to take on a volunteer role, please ring 086 3332752.
